Ling Yew Kong

Executive Chairman/Managing Director

Mr Ling is a private equity investor specialising in mergers and acquisitions.  He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in accounting and finance, securities brokerage operations, treasury management, infrastructure project management, corporate restructuring and corporate management.

Mr Ling sits on the Board of Directors of some listed companies in Singapore.  He is currently the Executive Chairman of Anwell Technologies Limited and an Independent Director of SBI Offshore Limited.  He is also the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of China Sky Chemical Fibre Co., Ltd.

Mr Ling graduated from Murdoch University, Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting.  He is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants.

  

Er Kwong Wah

Director

Mr Er spent 27 years in the Singapore Civil Service and served in various departments including the Ministry of Defence, Public Service Commission, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Community Development. He was Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education from 1987-1994, and then in the Ministry of Community Development until his retirement in 1998. Thereafter, he took up an appointment as Executive Director of a private tertiary college in Singapore and retired from this institution at the end of 2016.

Currently, he is an Independent Director of the Boards of several public listed companies.

For his outstanding service in the Government and in the community, Mr Er was awarded the PPA (E) or Public Administration Medal (Gold), the BBM (Public Service Star) and the PBM (Public Service Medal). In 1991, the Government of France conferred him a National Honour with the award of Commandeur dans l’Ordre des Palmes Academiques.

A Colombo Plan and Bank of Tokyo Scholar, Mr Er obtained a first class honours degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Toronto, Canada, in 1970 and an MBA from the Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester, UK in 1978.

 

David Wang

Director

Mr Wang started his career with NECX in USA as its Semiconductor Buyer in November 1994.  In September 1996, he became the Assistant Sales Manager of Commodity Components International (CCI) in USA.

He later joined Pronics Co., Ltd in June 1997 as its Vice President of Marketing and Sales based in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, P.R. China.  In October 1999, he became an International Business Consultant with Newlander Systems Inc., in USA.  In November 2002, he was the General Manager of Suntay International Investment Co., in Guangzhou, P.R. China and in March 2006, he was a Director of Century Epitech Co., Ltd in Shenzhen, P.R. China.

From July 2014 till present, he carries the position of Associate Director of Vigars Group.

Mr Wang graduated from Suffolk University, School of Management, Boston, USA with a MBA (Master in Business Administration) in 1993.
